These scholarships are for people from 41 countries who want to study in Sweden and make a positive impact on their home country and the world. The Swedish Institute provides support for master’s studies, which can last for one or two years.

Who Can Apply:
You need to be from one of the 41 eligible countries.
You must apply for a master’s program that qualifies for the SI scholarship.
You should be ready to pay tuition fees at a Swedish university.
Work experience is required, and leadership experience from your job or community engagement is a plus.
Eligibility criteria
Country of Citizenship: You must be a citizen of one of the eligible countries, but you don’t have to live there when you apply.
Master’s Programs: The master’s program you choose must be eligible for the SI scholarship. There are over 750 programs in English that qualify.
University Admission: You need to be admitted to one of the eligible master’s programs by 30 March 2023.
Previous Experience: Work experience is a must, and leadership experience in your job or community is valuable.

A monthly allowance of SEK 12,000 for living expenses.

A travel grant of SEK 15,000 (*10,000 for scholars from certain countries).
